                                                              WELCOME TO THE 2023 / 2024 SCHOOL YEAR!

   Hello and welcome to my website. There are many activities and a good deal of information attached to various links. Please scan through and let me know if there are any further questions I can answer for you. Thank you for visiting this site.
   Strive for at least 60 minutes of active movement, every day.  Make the time to stretch and time to exercise! Use what you know, look through the resources or come up with your own.

    I am encouraging you to make the effort to continue with the stretching and exercises that we have used previously. Challenge yourself by increasing the number of reps or the amount of time given for each set. Determine where your level of fitness is currently at and strive to improve. Strive to add to the difficulty, or number of repetitions. Remember that even one more, or a second longer than previous, IS IMPROVEMENT! Be safe and take care of yourself!

Our weekly routine includes
1)    Basic stretches: repeated up, down, side to side, and back
2)    Windmills
3)    Lunges
4)    Squats ~ including our squat challenge (how long can you go?)
5)    Hamstring stretch
     ~ remember to keep the hands behind your legs. your head down.~Hold and repeat
6)    Burpees
7)    Repeat the hamstring stretch
8)    Sit and reach stretch ~ repeat ~ legs straight, hands together ~
9)    Leg raise ~ repeat and include the challenge (what is your personal best?)
10)  Leg cross ~ legs straight and cross. Alternate left over, right over, repeat
11) Bent arm planks ~ repeat and challenge yourself to your personal best
12) Straight arm planks / push-ups
      ~ Remember to keep your body straight, raising and lowering yourself slowly.
